In your country or worldwide? Motorbikes are safe, its just those folks who don't watch the road that kill riders.
Its always good to have this in mind... "They don't see me" attitude in order to survive when riding the motorbike.

In my country most of the guys that ride motorbikes are doing crazy stuff and eventually get killed

Seriously though, I've seen reports of many, MANY riders who've hit vehicles in excess of 120mph. In those cases, a helmet only contains the spatter.
