Very cool! I had forgotten all about Peaches stores... but when I was cleaning out my old room at my mom's house last year, I found it in the dresser drawer. it's a little fragile, faded and has some holes. Wish I had several in better shape because I'd wear them - great conversation pieces among our generation!

When I was a kid I used to work at the local grocery store - the Piggly Wiggly!

We were given t-shirts that said "Support your local Piggly Wiggly, eat like a hog!"

I loved that shirt and actually earlier this year tried searching the internet for one, but alas - no luck.

Very funny!

By coincidence, I pulled out my old 1970s comic books to share with my 10 year old. There were so many funny ads in there (e.g. Sea Monkeys, 100 toy soldiers for $1.50, Columbia Records club), including T-shirt ads. I should scan the ad and post it. Lots of Farrah Fawcett, Shaun Cassidy, John Travolta, peace signs, thumbs up, and happy faces.

I've worn this shirt on several motorcycle trips. Nearly once a day, someone offers to buy it off my back.
