There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Money doesn't make you happy. I now have $50 million but I was just as happy when I had $48 million.

If you have all the answers why ask me a stupid question?

Eddie.

There was a time when I thought you were slightly less than objectionable.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

In youth you learn, in age you understand.

One for where I live: "Summer always take its winter break in Portugal."

I have but the simplest tastes, I am always satisfied with the best.

It is better to be rich and in good health, than poor and sickly.

The quote by Carlin is incorrect, as the most prevalent standardized test for IQ, the Wechsler, has been renormed upward through the years.

While the implications of this phenomenon are debatable, the quote remains without basis.

Questioning the statements made by comedian would ordinarily seem to be a waste of time, except for the fact that Carlin and other comedians have set themselves up as comical authorities on every thing from sociology to politics to religion and many people hold their views to be not only accurate, but profound, as well.

Alright? I posted the quote because it was humorous to me.... I believe it was intended to evoke a laugh rather than a scientific examination.
