Deepsea wrist advice

After picking up the deepsea my AD removed two links. The current setup has 4 links + the divers extension on top and 5 on the bottom. After wearing the watch for one full week my wrist slightly hurts. The watch sits a little towards the left side of my wrist. Would you recommend removing the divers extension and having the links put back in? Any possibilities the band is out of balance with the deletion of the two links / glidelock position?
