This Christmas I received my first Rolex, a completely new 2010 Submariner, that a family friend who is a jeweler helped my wife locate.

This is a watch I have wanted for some time and I never thought I would own. Needless to say, I am very happy to have it.

It carries a serial number V65xxxx. Does this number tell me anything about the watch?

I look forward to learning more about these watches from this wonderful forum.
