I personally don't see much similarity between a Milgauss GV and a Sub Date LV.

LVC for sure! You won't have any issues with and LVC and GV. They go very well together.

If I were the same as you as a chrono fan, I would save up a bit more and get a white SS Daytona -- the one with high prestige, great market value and a good combination to your GV.

EP is classic. but i think they refuse to change with the times and improve on their movements. its either they are stubborn/self absorbed or foolish.

they could at least release an updated caliber in parallel with the classic EP. and focus on their marketing/after sales.

ill go with zenith as long as its not the only watch in your collection.

Not uncommon to see bnib Zeniths in the gray mkt for 50% off list.

Zenith is similar to Girard Perregaux, the nicest watches nobody wants. :)
I like chrono's, too, and that Zenith is a beauty. I also believe GP is a a very fine choice with lots of interesting chrono options. If I had to pick, I would not buy Zenith wtihout at least looking at GP's chrono's.

@MAPULA. Would love to be able to do that but it would be much easier for me to find the Lost City of Atlantis than find one for sale in an AD here.

@Cedargrove. Had a look at EXP42 and it never really grabbed me in the way i had hoped it would i'd hoped it would, think i prefer the old 40 tbh. Red Sub though is a one sweet piece but for me going black dial again i'd need a black bracelet.

Pretty much even Stephen in viewpoints on here
