Ok, so I just checked this spelling and it makes sense now. I actually wasn't being funny when I asked.

Doesn't make me feel so silly dropping 7950 for my LN (got a 6% discount)....shoulda bought my DSSD from that AD that gave me a discount....my mistake.

Only problem like I said before is that I told my wife, "Don't worry sweetheart, I am through buying watches".

Seriously I am 45 years old, and a fellow I know just passed away at the age of 73 2 days ago. I guess if he wanted a black sub-c he couldn't get it now, and any money that he had that is worthless to him now, other than what he left to his closest loved ones.

Carpe Diem

Yeah! I thought it was cool that we had a lot of the same models in common as well. I tell mine the same thing too. But there's always another...
Like the EXP II I'm planning on getting, that she's super supportive, but not happy about.

[QUOTE=Deepsea Florida;3190108]The book is Vintage Rolex sport models by skeet and urul.

It only goes up to the 16800...mid eighties. Copyright 2008, but not sure when it was first printed. =QUOTE]

So what do you think of the book so far? Does it give a Submariner type study upto 2008?

The most modern Rolex in the book is the 16800
