Gmt ii c
I went through the same process about a year ago. Went back and forth between the GMT and Day Date for several months. I even looked at the DD II, but felt the bezel was out of proportion. I decided on the GMT and never looked back. It helped that I had a two tone Date Just and decided the Day Date was just too similar in size and the way it wears.

I voted DD, but now I'm leaning towards the GMT IIc! I guess that means I can relate to your dilemma. Either would be fantastic.

I think a yellow gold watch is a dress watch and that makes the DD the best choice.

Oh yes, that photo is much more appropriate. President bracelet is definitely the way to go on a Day-Date.

I have to say, not being a huge fan of the bulkier sport Rolex cases but I think for some reason, they work really well on the hold models. And let's face it, the green dial GMT 116718 is one of the coolest gold sport watches ever made! :-)

Black dial GMTIIc would be my choice Patrick..
It's such a striking watch, and has the extra feature of the second timezone....Sooooo handy to have when traveling or syncing with family in another part of the world!

I much prefer sporty styled watches over dressy ones. GMT for me by a large margin...it is absolutely stunning.

DD is to small unless you are thinking about a DD II but even still, GMTIIc all the way.
Oh, and I am biased to the green dialed one! Photos borrowed... From my iPad!

I'd have to say a DD smooth bezel with President bracelet and white Roman dial. My current grail. But you'll know the one once it's on your wrist.
