I have been surprised and saddened by this thread. I enjoyed the technical content of Nick's posts, as did many others, judging by the replies in those posts. I have not been privy to everything alluded to, so I can't comment on what I don"t know.

I have`nt logged on for a while so I`m a little slow on the uptake here. (I have missed all that happened with Vanessa although I have been told now)
It is unfortunate it has come to this. However what has happened comes as no surprise and subsequent actions are not exactly a shock either. Its a pity since a lot of his posts were informative and useful, espically to those who do not have access to technical information on Rolex watches. I can`t speak to others motivations or thinking but my reason for being on this forum is to get a better understanding of and interact with, Rolex owners/lovers (I`m one) and in so doing, hope I can offer a better service to Rolex clients. I know I locked horns with "Hacko" once or twice (hopefully nothing I said in any way contributed to this outcome, if so I apologise) As result have kept my head down recently in order to avoid any conflict with him or provide ammunition for further conflicts. I hope all can get back to normal quickly and as always if I can help anyone please don`t hesitate to ask. I.S. |

Richard, you certainly did not contribute to the problem. If anything, you were a casualty of Hacko's game-playing, and if getting rid of him has been instrumental in getting you back on the forum, it's a bonus!

JJ, don't you get it? Iron Stark's real name is Tony Stark, not Richard
I guess this would only be funny if you're into Marvel.

If Hacko was the only one doing this why do the rest of us have to pay the piper? Why not just suspend him?

Also, doesn't this rule disallowing edits conflict with the rule to place "sold" in the topic line once a watch is sold? I now have to scroll through the thread to find out if the watch is sold.

You are permitted to edit a post you have made for up to 100 minutes after your post is made. I hope this will be a sufficient window of opportunity for amendments to be made.
If a serious issue arises after the expiration of 100 minutes, you are welcome to contact a moderator or myself, and we will help you out depending on the circumstances. Having said that, it now appears that this thread has reached it's useful conclusion and so I propose to lock the thread. We can all direct our energies to more positive pursuits. Regards |

Personally I would never have anything to do with Nicholas Hacko ever again personally and most certainly never commercially
