I am more than sure that some day,the 2 brothers will reunite over a coffee

I am not surprised.

I'll make sure to let you know when I am travelling south, and do remember to drop me a PM when you travel north.

Congrats on a beautiful watch! Well done.
No need to add to the accolades this watch so richly deserves.

Engi, the bracelet should have the fliplock clasp, since the bracelet has the middle link polished. The earlier version of the bracelet, with a non-fliplock clasp, has a brushed middle link... (two rather than three links polished) but let's wait for the OP to post a picture to be certain. I am also curious.

Best,

Anders

Sure! The clasp is the fliplock version.

Thank you everyone! I'm kind of mad, I found a chip in the crystal though... The seller wants me to send it back, I just want $150 to get the crystal replaced... Currently, I'm going through paypal dispute as we speak.

Huge Congrats. I know I might be crazy I prefer them over the Daytona because of the date function. Both have their places though. I love that watch.

Nothing poor about that watch my friend. I've owned both a Daytona and Tudor Chrono at the same time. I only have the Tudor now because I liked the addition of the date. It squeezed out the Daytona for wrist time and so the Daytona had to go. I can't count the number of times I've seen and heard Daytona owners wish it included a date. Enjoy that top notch watch .......

First off - it's a different watch and not fair to compare it to the Daytona, it's gorgeous in it's own right and no reason to try and justiffy it.
You don't buy a Nissan and say that it's similar to Infiniti at a percentage of the cost - it's what it is and you enjoy what you like and can afford.

Second off - How can I get a Tudor in the US? I love this one and one of the current models, the Fast Rider. I want it, I want it, I want it!! :)
I don't see a lot of Tudors in the "for sale" section :(

Congrats, beautiful! I wish Rolex would add a date to the Daytona so that I could consider one.

Thanks for the pic !

If it is just a small line on the crystal, you could try with diamond past.

Ciao

Very nice!

Congrats!
The contrasting subdials work so well on that one paired with the black bezel.

Very nice. Maybe it could be called "Smart Man's Daytona" and this from a Daytona owner!

The only problem I have with this watch is now I want one! That is the perfect color combination. I had a chance to buy one just like it about 15 years ago for only $700. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
