It's a dressy affair...wear the dress watch.
Simple. So what do you think? |

Beautiful watches both, but I say the Reverso without question.

I had the Reverso to all different kinds of activities. Even to the beach! :) I think the Reverso probably would be a "classic" choice.
Only thing is that I got the GMT this monday, it's so nice and shiny. Would be perfect with the reverso for the wedding, and gmt for the brunch the day after. But We're a bunch of people that will be living together, that's why I won't bring both watches. Wouldn't want to leave either watch in the room, with people I don't really know being able to access them. The trouble all these watches make :)

I say either one. If I ever wore a watch somewhere and it made someone upset then I really dont want to be there anyways.
I wore my bright colored Pepsi GMT to my friend's wedding (I was the best man).... In my opinion any rolex can be dressy or not. The only watch of mine that I wouldn't wear to a wedding or formal event is my G-Shock. |

What? You don't own a G-Shock?
I think either watch would look great with a dark suit. |

Both would work fine but the JLC would look more proper.

I agree with Crew's sentiment, if you wouldn't wear the Reverso then sell it.
It is rude to wear a watch to formal events as you're supposed to be "off the clock". Here is where the Reverso shines, just leave that gorgeous case back up! |

I wore my red faced Tag Heuer F1 on rubber strap to the last wedding I went to, jesus who cares what watch you have on, surely its about the bride and groom not your watch.

GMT, I'm sure the focus will be on the groom and bride, not your watch :) Before I became interested in watches, I never noticed or cared about anyone's watch.

Which model Reverso?
Some Reverso models has a busy and/or unbalanced dial.... That IMO, takes the classiness and timelessness away from it. I'd rather a GMT. |

Don't worry about your watch. Weddings are always big comedy as you can see the slobs who wear a suit maybe three times a year. If "that guy" can show up with pants that are two inches too short, you'll be fine even if you do opt to wear the gmt. |
