I prefer the old platinum YM design but the blue dial is novel for Rolex in their lineup of predominantly neutral dials.

The last generation TT Sub, the Turn-o-Graph, numerous ladies and men's DJs and DDs have all had a similar, blue dial. Over the years, Rolex has offered almost every color under the sun, on one model or another. This blue isn't out of step at all.
