since this thread started a week ago, two 15300 have come up in the for sales section...Guess I should now change the title to..."why not so few 15300 for sale?"

I think it's the last option. People hold on to them!

They are so beautiful, and definitely up there among the top players on the Watch market.

Took a little bit of time and effort to find a 15300 with a blue dial and NIB, but finally found one. Should delivered to me early next week.

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to getting this one. I really thought long and hard about whether to get this or the PP 5711 and decided on the RO because it's the original G. Genta design and because I like the physical "heft" of the 15300 more than the 5711.

I've been speaking to davidsw for over a month on getting a 15300. Even he admitted that they are getting much harder to get. Finally he was able to track down two. One black and one white. One for me and one for a friend of mine. Should have it next week. Can't wait.

Yes, I too have noticed. Not only the number for sale, but the prices. I am kicking myself for a few 15300 that I have passed up in 2011.
