I think if you sell watches on here more than once - you need to get the packaging sorted out.
Look how this seller shipped the watch for a good example.https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=252503 Less chance of damage. |

Wow, I am really appreciative for everyone's feedback! Based on it, Raja contacted me and offered to replace the box set. I found a replacement watch box set, and his credit back to me will pay for most of the costs to replace the watch box set.
I'm just one of those people that the box is important. I know it's probably weird for some people, but it's part of the presentation for me. Should I sell the watch I want the new owner to feel like they're getting something special vs. in a damaged box. I consider Raja's credit to be fair and equitable. Thanks again for everyone's feedback b/c I believe it was instrumental in getting this matter resolved. Lastly for the record the letter carrier looked like a pregnant camel. It no longer matters because Raja has given me resolution, but wanted to clarify that the letter carrier in which I received the watch was in no way an appropriate size to ship a watch. I expected the shipping box to be larger than the watch box in length, width and height, which it wasn't. The letter carrier was much longer, as you can imagine, but the letter carrier wasn't larger in height. So it was quite bulbous. Raja has made satisfactory compensation for the damage to the watch box, so I consider this matter resolved. Again, thanks to everyone's help. |

What is the appropriate protocol for rating this transaction? What should i do about my OP now that the matter has been resolved? Should I delete this post b/c I can't edit the original post? Should I leave it up so other buyers can read through the thread to form their own opinion? I would appreciate some direction. Thanks!

You've done your part and got the resolution you wanted. If it was because of this thread or not we will never know allthough I think it helped in pushing the seller in the right direction. |

Mark. It is best to make your customers happy even if you disagree with them. I feel that for what maybe 50 dollars in credit it is worth not having your name associated with a bad review just my .02
