John Santos, Toronto Canada, An admistrative beware!
This short but true tale, is a small insight into the day in the life of a moderator, and not limited to myself, but all in administration involved here on TRF~!
So a public outing if you will.... Yesterday, a John Santos was found to be skirting the rules of the TRF FS section. Naturally, I (as I am required to), clean up the transgressions to be fair to all those using the free service of the sales boards. This, by the way, is a privilege not a right! So I narrate a short, to the point PM in order to explain the wrong doings from John, with the hope of clearing up the issues at hand. Here is my PM to him: Quote:
Most of the time, we get a quick response with acceptance for missing the mark, as far as being within the required and expected FS section rules.....and mostly, a heart felt apology. This would not be the case this time.. The reply I received (and all of us have from time to time), was not only unexpected, but completely out of line and borderline psychotic , without reason or any kind of respect. Here it is: Quote:
A rather obnoxious and completely ignorant, without warrant, response! This thread, is posted for two reasons. First is, avoid this individual on any other forum you may happen to cross paths! Second, is to give you all a small view into the world of moderation....... It's not as Rosie as some may think! Last but not least, although this does happen more times than it should, I'd like to add, the high majority of our members are superb human beings, it's a shame we get these bad apples souring a good thing here at TRF!
