Like I said, this was my first time doing food photography and while I studied quite a bit, I forgot just about everything while I was shooting.

She was really happy with the results, which is good.
Next time, if there is a next time, I will do better.

You can't do much as a photographer to place them inside the dish or around the tray. It's the chef's job...

There is always followup gigs. Seasonal specials, new dishes, etc etc. I can understand why there are professional food photographers.
