So now you will have to start a thread in the main forum with wrist pics and the story of how you used TRF to validate crazy uncle Frank (just kidding about crazy uncle)

Watch is perfect, congrats! Ask for the family discount, and pay your uncle. (No need to kill him. )

Regardless, he's your uncle, so if it turns out otherwise later on, I'm sure there would be no problem in getting your money back lol.

Nice! Although my question is why aren't there any lug holes? Is that the new ceramic?

It's not the ceramic, perfectly OK to not have lug holes. It's an F serial. So about when Rolex stopped making lug holes, except for the No-date sub.

Well I thought I would check back in and see all the activity this post got which by the way I appreciate ALL the help. I was able to muster up some courage and remove the band and I thought I would add one more picture. Can't post the other side because I don't know how to edit the picture to block out serial number but it does read F76****. A total of 7 characters.

Congratulations!

Do yourself a favor and peel off that nasty sticker on the case-back.

Good luck.

Fine looking genuine Rolex. Now ask your Uncle for a better price! :-) (he paid around $4K for that watch)

Congratulations on the watch - just remind your uncle that that you are first in line to buy his next watch, when he upgrades.
