Well deserved! Happy birthday, and congrats!

Although I have owned a Rolex (Rolexes) for many years now, I have similar feelings seeing my first (a 1675) in the late 1970s and lusting for one for many years before buying one (still do not have the 1675). Last year I managed to find a new old stock - unused - early Datejust 16200 in exactly the configuration I should have bought when I was 25... but didn't do until now ... 20 years later... That DJ has become my second most used watch (after my old Explorer, that will never go...)

Likewise, I saw a sub in a Rolex ad in the Reader's Digest when I was 8 and fell in love. I was just learning how to read then (slow learner), living in Malaysia. Now 30 years later, I am a Law Professor in Canada. When I was recently tenured, I finally got myself a sub. Long wait but we'll worth it to commemorate my progress in life. I still stare at the watch like I would stare at the Rolex ad. Love it!
