I like the bigger watches on the gals. My wife usually wears a 34mm TT Date.. the 36m looks great.. |

Actually...it's a three tone watch: rose-, yellow-, and white-gold. Most of the watch is white-gold but if you look closely at the center links you will see they are actually all three tones sandwiched together (in this order: pink, yellow, white, yellow, pink). As I understand it this manufacturing process was expensive but as a result these center links are solid (where as usually they are hollow). So the watch has a really interesting, unusual look and is feels quite heavy. The watch also has a yellow-gold bezel which I think adds some contrast to the white (though I've also seen pics of the watch with a white-gold bezel and thought that looked really good too). The watch cost more than a standard 18239 but it still seems like a pretty good value (and Jacek had a really nice period correct box, booklets, hangtag, etc to go along with the RSC papers from when the watch was serviced over the summer). |
