Incoming...(my first thread)

Well, the day has finally come (well almost)...

I have to first thank the TRF community. This forum is such a welcoming, friendly, and helpful place. I've learned an immeasurable amount on this site and cannot thank you all enough.

Growing up a Rolex "dreamer" with my father, we've always admired the quality and durability of Rolex watches and joked about having one(or two) someday. I've lurked on this site for a little over a year now and recently joined once I was sure I'd have my own Rolex.


I've always had my sights set on the iconic Submariner and when the redesigned Subc Date (116610LN) was released, I knew that was the watch for me. It took me some time and I've certainly been tempted to look other places (DJII, ND Sub, Exp II, etc.) but I wanted to stick to my guns and go with my first love....

I want to also thank Tony (justrolexes) for an awesome deal on my 116610LN! An absolute pleasure to deal with.....

My watch is en route (c'mon Fedex!), so if all goes well, I hope to have some wrist shots/ unboxing up tomorrow evening! Can't wait!
