I'm glad the game ended up very competitive and was fun to watch. As for penalties.....they let each team play...so it was pretty even from that standpoint. Sometimes you hate to see one team win and the other one lose.....they both had their opportunities and I thought the delay due to a power failure just added to the flavor of the evening!!!

Take it easy.....Leo

The former VP of officiating had a blurb today where he said the final play was not holding since the ball was in the air. At that point, both guys were hand fighting and Crabtree pushed off, throwing Smith to the turf.

Good no-call.

Yes and for all those who are still whining tell your team to play 4 quarters next time. I think Jim Harbaugh and players handled it poorly in media and need not look any further than their inconsistent play in first 3 quarters!

Game Over: Ravens won the SB!

No 49'ers fan should whine. If the Packers hadn't been robbed by the replacement refs on the "Fail Mary" in Seattle in game 2, the Packers would have had a bye and the Niners would have played in GB in the Divisional round. Doesn't matter. What is done is done.

And the Pack lost to the Niners twice. So no excuses.

Harbaugh should realize, refs are part of the game. To quote Conner...."Game Over: Ravens won the SB!"

The guy standing next to me at the party I was at, would have won $9300 in his block pool.

He was unbelieveably upset.

Incorrect. When the ball is in the air, defensive holding cannot occur. It becomes PI. This is from the former head of officiating of the NFL.

NFL network just broke down the play frame by frame. Crabtree initiated contact on the 2 yard line, and disengaged by slapping Smith's head and shoving him down. That's offensive PI. The really knowledgable football analysts have come to the conclusion that it was a good no call, or even offensive PI. The Skip Baylesses of the world are crying holding.

Oh, and Torrey Smith scores on this play without the illegal contact. No call here, either. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360114909.161241.jpg
