Case is too bulky especially w/ the new protruding lugs and bracelet width.

My most comfortable Sub is a 14060M...then my 16610LV. Hard to explain but the 14060M is 5x's more comfortable FOR ME than even the 16610.

Well... onto the next one.
I suppose my question for you is as compared to what? A 36 president? A smaller watch will of course be less intrusive on your wrist. Good luck.

X2, been wearing mine on my RIGHT wrist for every day for 16 years!

Perhaps the newer larger style lugs are not as comfortable as the older Subs?? There may be somthing to this..... My 16613 can be worn all day and never feel it. Same goes with the older style bracelet.

Get an older sub, lighter weight, for me way more comfy......and get one w/ lug holes, makes the watch a bit lighter.

Try the GMT II C instead (or the Exp II)

The GMT and Exp II sit lower and flatter on the wrist, and have a smaller clasp (the Easylink, as opposed to the Glidelock)

Not sure what you are trying to convey here Mickey (other than your apparent immaturity)

MY POINT EXACTLY...maybe the watch lugs would be more balanced IF THE BRACELET HAD BEEN CHANGED.

Also, Calm down with your immaturity comments...maybe we should just stick to the OP's question which was on SUBS...Not GMT or EXPII. Hell why don't we just tell him to get a Datejust Jubilee while we are at it....that's the most comfy one out there.

OH WAIT b/c he didn't ask about Datejusts, GMT's or EXPII's.

Relax.

Maybe you should have posted using actual words, rather than just emoticons, then your meaning would be clearer

The OP is interested in sports models, hence the suggestion (not just from myself)

I own/have owned all of the models mentioned in this thread so far, so can offer an owners perspective, although comfort is of course subjective

You have made your personal opinions very clear regarding old vs new models, size of watches, etc. Really no need to jump on people who perhaps don't share your opinions, or advocate watches that you don't like
"Jump on people"

I just used emoticons....You called me immature. Who is jumping on who?
I PM'd you and you replied. We are fine BUT...I didn't call you immature you called me it. I just expressed my frustration with a and a and maybe a .

Take care.

Now lets get back to talking about the most comfy SUBMARINER!

THAT is a great point. NONE of them will be comfortable if not "sized" correctly.

I just got my sub c..I have a larger wrist and I can't say enough about how comfortable it is...the other thing that I absolutely love is the weight..it is so solid...it feels big but in a very good way...I can't imagine wearing anything else.. Hope whatever you choose makes you as happy as my sub c makes me...cheers

If you tried on the watch without it being sized you can't get a real feel for the comfort of the watch. Even with adjusting the guidelock clasp to the smallest size, I am assuming the watch was still loose on you? After you remove a link or two the comfort of the watch comes to life. I removed 2 links for my 6.5" wrist and the watch feels great!

I find the Explorer's and GMT's to be more comfortable on the wrist, than a Sub.

I couldn't say any Rolex of mine are uncomfortable. The sub looks and wears like a thin watch with style despite being 40mm without bulkiness at all.

Sounds to me like you're just wearing it too low 'n loose. Try snuggin' it up a bit.

The old style Subs are much more comfortable then the new ones. Putting my LV on after the Bluesy feels like coming home. SubC is heavier and more bulky.

gettin the right fit is crucial for the glidelock.

my SubC ND and TT SubC sits ok. they hug the wrist so may leave some skin marks after prolonged wearing (but I am ok as i prefer fit then hang loose).

may be if it could be sized better, there shouldnt be any problems imo.

Sidetrack: I did not get a chance to try a sized DSSD and so was under the impression it will not fit me well. And so i sold it. Recently at one preown shop, i tried a preown piece and the shop owner sized it for me (even though i am not buying). I must say I think I am actually able to carry the DSSD. Seller's remorse :(

One of the most comfortable watches I own...never had an issue...

But since this is a personal choice...go for the one you are most happy with...because if you are not 100% happy, it will always niggle in the back of your mind.

Love my SS SubC.
I'd even consider a 2nd in TT or YG.
Good luck with your search.
