Don't have a Sky-Dweller and probably never will. Have to say however, thanks to quickset function on my DJ and the hour jump function on my EXPII, both were date corrected by me in less than 60 seconds total. Gotta love Rolex!

After looking at the previous posts of those RS Skydweller pics, I would love to own one...someday maybe. What a beautiful watch.
However, I did have a smile on my face this morning when I was adjusting the GMT II..... as I glanced over and saw my trusty Brietling Montbrillant 1461 had the correct date on the dial showing March 1. I know it is nothing compared to the Skydweller and some of the beautiful Patek's out there, but for those of us that like to see a perpetual at work, the Brietling is not a shabby timepiece. It's not too expensive but definitely does it for me once a month when the date hand jumps to accomodate for the even/odd months :) |

Here are a few of the 1461 - my perpetual, and the last one with my GMT II. The 1461 has stayed with me for some time now. It is still one of my favorites. It takes some time to adjust it, but once you have everything set up - Day, date, lunar phase, month, and of course time, it's good to go for 4 years or 1461 hours. There are times when I like the simple easy to read dial of the Explorer. The dial with it's 9 hands plus moon phase and slide rule can seem a bit overwhelming with information sometimes, but once you get used to it, it's not too bad. And yes... I still use the slide rule and it comes in handy once in a while. TY |
