There is a long history in England of custom 'shooting brakes' or 'Estates' based on sports cars - with more hits than misses, I'd suggest.
I don't mind the XJS version, and really enjoyed the E Type version provided by Kingair (never seen that one before) The Callaway Corvette looks good also. The 'shooting brake' concept has never had much pretension about being practical - always just been a bit of styling fun and 'something different'.

Screams Ferrari FF to me.
Nice, but, another example of what I don't like about the new Corvette. It looks like a collection of other cars instead of a Corvette. |

None match the best of the lot, John Dodds so called Rolls Royce, with a Merlin plane motor
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=jo...l%3B1200%3B900 or the custom 456 shooting break for the Sultan of Brunei or the many custom shooting breaks from Aston Martin.

Now I've seen it all.
A Corvette station wagon. Pretty cool, I'm glad it's nowhere near the station wagons I remember seeing previously.

Looks like the rear end of the Z BMW. It's nice.
