WG! The blue bezel and dial is just amazing with the white gold shining at you!

Love the WG sub, I know someone that has one. We were at bar once and some guy sits next to us and says "I didn't think Rolex made SS blue sub." He replied "they don't" It was kind of funny, nothing else was said.

that's a tough one. i love the feel of gold, but for that kind of money, i'd go for something vintage—maybe a double red seadweller.

As requested Andy.....and with more casual attire......Not sure YG would have the same versatility but I'm sure other members will prove me wrong....

I tried on the GMT YG for the first time and that did it for me, it just blew all other Rolexes away except for maybe the beautiful chocolate Daytona. Those are the two ultimate Rolexes for me.

For "me" personally, Yellow gold... But I'm a king of bling... (I like to think so anyhow)..

.. Doesn't matter what I would have, its you thats going to be wearing which ever beauty you choose, and you genuinly cannont go wrong with either choices, both stunning in there own way!! Yellow being very blingy and bright.. White being understated and stealthy..

Random question, but does a gold sub cost any more to do a basic service than a steel one?

it really does depend on your skin tone . I was positive i was going to get a YG black dial sub . However , it just didnt look right on me . I still appreciate the look though.

They are both great, but I have a preference for the white gold. Can't go wrong though!

Basic? Should be the same. If any parts like the crown need to be replaced then no.
