Oh, and I disagree 100% about the bracelet; as much as I love the OEM rubber strap (it's true, no one does rubber like AP), the bracelet cranks the Diver up to "11".

Thanks Adam for your reply.

Cons for the Diver? mmmmm.... Sporty looking watch if you are on the conservative side? 42mm? Not as easy to dress up? The crown for the inner rotating bezel is a hit or miss? IMHO.

Regarding the steel bracelet, thats what I think too. My comment are based on the AD's opinion, but I still think and part of my inner debate is: I do agree with you on the steel and think that makes it a more versatile watch.

Thank you.

between this two, diver my pick. But also consider Panda on bracelet. Pay a little bit more to get better looking watch IMHO.

The contrast of black dial, steel bezel and black strap makes it pop like it should. With the steel strap (so that I can feel confortable when wearing a suit and going to meetings/clients etc) it looses ist charm in his humble opinion.

Every photo I have seen of the Diver on the ss bracelet, it looks amazing, and from what you say, I think you would be more comfortable in certain situations with it on bracelet, I don't think it would loose any charm. It's good to switch things up now and then.

I agree with the AD who said the Diver looks best on black rubber as it pops the black dial more and breaks up the steel on steel on steel colour. Same for the Panda for me, better on a black hornback than the ROO bracelet, which Im not a big fan of anyway, much prefer the RO bracelet.

My preference is the Themes, I was told by my AD that the bracelet version is discontinued, but still can be purchased separately.

Black themes

Was a tough call between the Panda and Black Themes and in the end...

Yes it's not as Flashy as the White faced ROOs but hey it's got soul, versatile and nowhere as 'dull' as some comments.. Infant the black waffled dial shimmers from different angles :)

Well to each his own.. Would own both if I could afford but when push came to shove.. I chose Black:)

Cheers!

I would go with the diver over the black theme roo - it's just more cool and modern / today compared with the black roo which seems rather old dated and boring compared to it. The diver dial is just so handsome in its simplicity. For roo chrono I would go for something more lively like a safari or panda or the novelty 44mm steel chrono.
