The most attention getting has to be a TT or full gold versions ... the gold reflects light lie nothing else, if it is nice and polished...

Glade you like it! I've always wondered at what point Ventura regretted charging the mound. Nothing like being 26 years old and getting your ass kicked by a 46 year old in front of a national audience.

My 16610 LV is my only Rolex to garner unsolicited compliments. (not that I ever solicit compliments) One woman said she liked it because it looked like the Boston Celtics team colors. Others said they liked the splash of green. None recognized it as a Rolex.

I would love to see some shots of the Hulk. The emerald dial is breathtaking.

+1 outside of ADs/luxury watch retailers and a few close friends who know I'm a watch nut and give me a query when they see me with a new piece, I've had exactly one complement on all of the Rolexes I have, this being the Daytona.

The Breitling has gotten the most complements by far, followed by the CR PO.

Actually, now that I think about it I forgot about two other instances, so it's three, not one:

Had a guy I work with whom I cannot stand (and who would be the type to go blab to everyone in 100 miles that I'm wearing one) end up in the elevator with me when I was wearing the 16613 to work (rare); as we were walking into the wing he said "Nice watch!"; I said thanks, he replied "Is that a Gucci?"...I smiled and simply said "No" and quickly cut down another hallway.

The other time was also in the elevator I had a guy notice the Polar Explorer, and was no issue: he basically asked if that was an Explorer, I replied yes and he said he used to have one and missed it. I wanted to ask him what he had now but was a short elevator ride, and anyway it was probably just as well...

But in general it seems that they're a bit more under the radar, which is fine...to me they have just the right balance of pop and subtlety, and even the so-called "blingy" models like the GMT IIc are far more subtle than many of the flashier watches on the market these days, again fine by me!

Bluesy or Panerai are the most noticed out and about. Nothing else gets any comments at all.

When I owned an Omega Seamaster Chronodiver, that a fair amount of attention from regular folks. I think because it was thick and the high polish bracelet made it blingy and stand out more. My Rolexes rarely get attention except when I'm at an AD...

The funny thing is, for me, the least recognized and I received no comments so far after more than a year of everyday use is my 218206 DD2.. Ironically, lots of positive and nice comments on my recent additional ala back to very basic 116234... Wonder why.. But I always try to hide my watches cos I no want to get negative attentions. .. Btw, I ever once a AD stood behind me told another buyer that my 218206 is a ss DJ2. The DD2 PT being one of the flagship model of the rolex brand, it is amazing stealthy and unknown. Well done Rolex! .. James

No one ever says anything about my watches and when I show my Rolex watches to my friends, most are appalled that I would spend such money for what can be had for a few bucks and keeps better time.

In my case it's both the Yachtmaster and the Milaguss GV. The YM because of the subtel bling of the bezel and the Milgauss because of the green crystal. Mostly men notice the YM while the women notice the Milgauss.

I can honestly say that no one has ever commented on any watch that I have worn. It really is the 1% of us on here that notice watches. Everyone else could truly care less

I'd have to agree that the WG blue Sub for the dial and the YG Sub or GMT, for obvious reasons!

This vintage Tudor Monte Carlo is new to me and this Rolex of mine is what has been noticed and getting complements. People don't know what it is.

My 1680 Sub goes unnoticed, and my LV will sometimes catch an eye due to its green bezel insert

Surprisingly enough to me, the watch I get most asked about and compliments on is my Cartier Santos. The square case, white dial with Roman numerals all pair nicely.

This one gets lots of admiring looks (or so I think) in public but no actual comments yet.

I don't get many comments but many stares when I wear my GMTIIc.
