keep what you have for now. i am in Kuwait and they are selling for less than $8400 at the Rolex shop and I still could not justify paying close to $1000 premium for a bezel color difference.

I've never been a fan of much green, but Ironically don't mind it on the 16610LV. I just put a deposit on the new bi-color GMTc, but never had the urge to buy the classic GMTc. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Had both initially, obtained the BLNR at launch, having spent time about a month with both, decided to let the LN go as I much prefer the BLNR and couldn't justify holding onto both!!
Really rate the new one, just need to decide what's next!!

I think it's an an outstanding new piece. The work on the bezel is extraordinary....so much so it's patented I am a fan of the GMT 2c SS but never enough to keep one. This one however I feel may stick around. I'd grab one now and trade in a heart beat

GMT vs suit
Dalip, I respect your opinion very much. I guess from the picture, it looks wearable with a suit. For me it is still too sporty looking due to the blue paint.
Now, let's think about this. If the black and blue would have come out first and now Rolex comes up with a new "all black" GMT II ceramic SS, I think customers would have gone nuts and would have paid an even higher premium for it.

This borrowed: "You see Cerachom (Rolex's own version of ceramic) was introduced on the GMT first in 2005. And for years, we were told that making a two-tone ceramic anything was impossible. But this year, Rolex has gone an built a mono-block cerachrom bezel by a patented process that actually has the bezel start off as completely blue, and while still pourous, add the black coloring. So, this isn't two pieces of ceramic next to each other, it's a singular piece, and Rolex is the only brand in the world to produce something like this. It's so difficult to do that it's actually patented. "

I think you should be able to just order the black/blue bezel and have it replaced at the ad, I did that when I got tired of my Pepsi, I simply ordered that black one, few years later I got tired of the black and then went back to the pepsi.
