I just purchased the BB & have been wearing it all week. I really like this piece. If I had a 114060 I wouldn't trade it for a BB. Save up for the BB & purchase it down the road. The good new is it's relatively light on the wallet compared to the 114060 or almost any other Rolex piece.

No way. Only if I was getting something crazy back in terms of cash, $5,000 minimum.

i will go against the current here and say that if it is the right trade with ample cash back than why not? Its not like the 114060 is going anywhere and can be aquired quite easiy.....hell, they both can so who cares? Its not like you are tradind a mint vintage that is hard to find...

I would not do that trade. A Submariner has real heritage.

Wow. Except for one opinion, it's unanimous. I've never seen this here. I guess you have your answer.

Another no vote here. Love the BB but would not do that trade. I would sell the Sub & pick up the BB & a Pelagos on the secondary.

Yeah, me too. The BB is certainly the rarer and more interesting watch. Also in terms of proportion the 114060 just can't touch the BB.

I would never get a 114060. Maybe a nice vintage Sub, but this clunky/clumsy new model - never.

Go for it.

PS: And not breaking under peer pressure doesn't make you mental, or whatever other insults people called you. Actually the people that wrote those comments that borderline on rudeness only show how much they are invested in and sold on the Rolex-image (image not to be mistaken for the actual watch) so that they cannot even allow anyone to entertain an individualistic and novel idea for one second.
Just my 2 Cents.

Do whatever makes you happy. I love the red/burgundy on the BB and it is a nice watch. If you are getting cash back and that is a priority then go with your gut feel.

Hey man, you're on ROLEXforums.com, not some random watch forum. Don't get upset when someone talks about how much they like Rolex here. It sounds like you're getting offended by people thinking Rolex is superior to Tudor. The fact of the matter is, just about everyone is going to consider Rolex superior in many ways. If you're all about know one knowing you're wearing a fine watch, then by all means, wear Tudor, but don't come here spouting this BS.

Yes, then after that you should trade the BB for a Gshock! Seriously though, I love the BB and may add one to the mix at some point. However, I wouldn't down trade a Sub for it!

Keep your ND Sub and get some custom end links and put it on a strap.
