Local barbershop for me. Three guys work in the shop. Always crazy on Saturdays; close to an hr. wait. Try to visit on their evening hours.

I guess mine is supposed to be a stylist but I always ask for regular and boring haircuts so I don't get to let her express herself.

She does a wonderful job everytime though (mind you, I get a haircut once or twice a year as I like to let my hair grow).

My wife cuts my hair. We've been doing that since early in our marriage when we were broke and looking at any way to save some $$$. Mostly now she does because I ask and it's convenient. Usually she doesn't cut my ear either!

price

stylist is boutique priced haircut.

biggest hurdle i had was finding someone consistently available when i had time and with consistent skills… after about 2 years and 7 different places i found someone who is very reliable on all counts for a flat $15 plus tip and the cherry on top is she is pleasant both to talk to and to view:)

DIY here. I run a #2 clipper over my whole head once a week and call it a haircut.

Old fashioned barber shop. We have some of the same interests, hunting and ultralight airplanes. I haven't gotten him interested in watches yet but working on it.

I get my hair cut by a stylist. He just happens to be my coworker at the Salon I work at.

I pay $55 for a haircut so I’m guessing it fits under the stylist description then
Although you most definitely get what you pay for.

Stylist for me but I am a woman. My husband used to go to a barber, but he retired so now he goes to a stylist that is one of his customers.

I'll admit I go to a stylist, but have had my share of other more efficient methods. I'm losing hair and it won't matter in due time.

Dan, you've been sitting back waiting for this post, haven't you?

My procedure is simple, #2 clipper over what little hair is left. 2 minutes and done.

My wife does it for me. Roll the Wahl clippers over my head and in three minutes it's done. The leaf blower she uses to brush off the cut hair does take some getting used to however.

Too funny Leo. My barber of approximately 30 years is a Ron too. He recently sold his business and now rents a chair at a woman's salon. He calls his chair in the back the "men's department." I'm slowly bracing for his ultimate retirement. My plan is to then switch to a stylist ...

My barber is an old school guy. Go in there, talk about women, poker and nothing is politically correct :)

I don't have any relatives that are stylists or barbers for that matter. As a female, with a lot of hair, and oh did I mention prissy? Well…stylist for me. ;-) LOL I like my guy, he cuts my hair very well every time. I sit down, take my glasses off, tell him cut it like last time, when he's done, I put my glasses on…and say thank you…make an appt. in 3-4 mths. LOL Its not cheap, but he helps keep me looking pretty decent. LMAO…

PS…I also enjoy my double espresso when I go get my hair done. :-)

I go to whichever one is avaliable. It used to be a barber bloke then random salon after I moved and now its one saloon with hairdresser. I request yhe same haircut at all anyway so no big difference.
