Interesting original post. I just got a SD after having the 14060 for 5+ years. Both are great watches but i found i was really missing the date feature. I can't recall a single conversation started by the 14060 but i doubt the 16600 will start many either except from people who know. Most average people think if it doesn't have a cyclops it is a fake!
