Getting married

I'm getting married next week and am curious if I'm the only one whose done this...

My better half and I eschew rings, don't like the aesthetic and for us it's uncomfortable, so we got engraved Rolex watches as the equivalent of wedding rings.

Also, despite the fact that I'm posting this on the internet, we're otherwise rather private and enjoy knowing that the symbolism of our commitment is invisible to the outside world.

Has anyone else here done wedding watches or have I started my own trend?
