Loose the ceramic bezel, polished center links and green hand and I may even sell a kidney off for that one

and now for something completely different,
Hey JJ,
I have read some of your posts, you are the man,....man! Heres what i would like to see form Rolex, as the epitamy of the finest in timepiece manufactor, it should produce one 'sports/proffesional' watch that has the lot, I drive truck, ( please dont think any less of me, ....someone has to do it!) and i would like a Daytona like watch for hours and time span measurment, as well as the time zone facility of the GMT II and i would like the watch to have an alarm of some sort (is this possible on a mechanical movement?) but without all the glitz and glamour of the rosegold/diamonds/rubys/blah/blah, A watch affordable by the GMT II standards, in SS so to be useable as a tool, by the many, that has all of the facilities of many of the proffessional watches, somewhat like a hybred of the extrodinary watch series. Maybee i am being disrespectfull of the particular genre of each of the watches.

I love those pictures Bo. A ceramic Pepsi bezel for the new GMT ll would be awesome. I may consider buying one of those.

I don't know of such a watch that's mechanical and capable of what you desire. I suggest you look into the Oceanus line of watches. "High-end" Casios but they have nice braclets, sync up automatically and have the features you desire. There are "minute repeater" features in mech. watches, but I know of no alarm function, along with a chrono and second timezone in a mech sports watch. Nothing certainly at the price of a SS GMT II. |
