Congrats!

Outside of an AD, I've only ever seen a grand total of one in real life.

Never seen this bad boy in the wild. Want to find one at an AD and find out what all of the fuss is about when it comes to comfort issues (I guess due to the thicker case?). Love the green though and definitely more stealthy. Its the watch that people in the know will notice and respect and others will have no clue. Lovely.

I have a V serial Milgauss and have the shortened text. A quick look on the sales forum and it seems G serial and newer have the stretched text.

So it looks like my quick search led to the wrong conclusion. Does anyone have any insight about the text variations?

On the official Rolex page, both versions of the text can be seen:

http://www.rolex.com/watches/milgaus....magazine.html

I think the newer dials use the stretched text.

Love this, congrats. It's the fun Rolex with serious chops, but simple. A friend has one and I always enjoy how the green glass "blinks" just a bit.
I'm dying to get one for the wife, but it's too much steel for her as a daily...

Very nice in deed. That, the no date sub, the GMT, and the Explorer one comprise my favorites list. I'd be happy with any of them as my next Rolex.
