I'd go for the YG, both are excellent though and I can imagine that this is a pretty hard choice because they are both so nice.

White gold hands down, to the average person its just another SS sub, but to a true enthusiast it is on a whole different level of awesome.

I have to say white gold. Yellow gold has always seemed gaudy to me.

But in the end, it's a matter of personal taste.

If you prefer a black dial then the YG, if you prefer blue then the WG.

In the sub I prefer WG (and own one as well). But I do like the GMT-IIc in yellow gold.

Tough call. Both have merits. I think it really depends on your situation. How often would YG be suitable/unsuitable in your daily life. That's what would do it for me.

I agree...if I were wearing this watch on a regular basis I would go with WG to blend in. If it was just a special occasion watch then YG

If you want gold get the shiny YG.

Paying triple for something that all but WiS's will assume is SS just isnt my cup of tea. Kind of a wate of money…less ROI inb that sense.

What about platinum?

Only a waste of money if you don't want it and love it ! For me anything but...But I love all gold and platinum...Variety is a cool thing when it comes to precious metals!
