Oh man... I really hate to be "that guy" but the pepsi insert is 100% aftermarket. Or maybe you knew this already?

Thank you and yes sir. I should have mentioned that above; sorry. I tried to source a genuine locally but no luck. I now have one coming from Germany (purchased here on TRF) but won't be here until 7-10 days from now! The dealer I bought the watch from offered to throw in this one along with the genuine black insert pictured above so I took it.

Good deal! Glad to know I didn't spoil the excitement but thought I'd mention it so you could contact the dealer if need be. With the way genuine insert prices are going $$$, it really makes you wonder about leaving the aftermarket one installed and let it take the scratches and nicks. Only us lunatics would ever notice.

Thanks for looking out and really, the gen inserts are getting crazy! I saw some listed for $500!! As a lunatic myself, I will make it right in a week or two when it arrives though!

Had me fooled!

Awesome old school pepsi though! My first Rolex was a 16710 and I loved it, don't be afraid to get more bezels and swap em around for different looks!

Incoming... yes, again_Part II (Pepsi WG is here!)

Dude, I almost hate you for this.

But I must say, the old Pepsi might be my route with the price of the WG ones. Will see.. Congrats!

So by now you might be like WTF where is the "Pepsi WG"??? What I meant of course was Pepsi while Wearing Gold.

To make up for my deception, here are some more pics!

Here is the real box this 16710 came with (I like my full sets) and additional black insert.
