If you have a look at some of the enhanced pictures above, is that a cyclops I see above the '40' ?????????
You may need to brighten your screens a little

GUYS

I have a hint for you

The more bubbles you catch the more of the watch you are able to see

It seems like a double coloured white black bezel

Try to catch (concetrate) as many bubbles as possible and play around the bezel

You will see a different colour for sure

The colour difference is near number 40

Wonder if this really does hint at the white gold Submariner mentioned before in another thread. It be interesting to have a white ceramic bezel on a white gold Sub to identify the difference from a Stainless Steel version.

Thanks Velitsko. The bezel does look white. Is this the WG Sub? If it is SD, that's a pretty radical departure from the current SD. Only a few more days...

Looks to me to be a solid color ceramic bezel, it's hard too tell if its white or silver, doesn't look black, but knowing Rolex it probably is.
What you see is the marker at the 40 min/sec spot, with a marker line at the 35sec/min then you can see the 30 sec/min spot.

I think Frostie has it right.

Man, it looks like a roulette wheel style black & white back and forth. Every 10 minute marker it switches colors.

yeah bryan, i'm starting to get a little disgruntled with this as well. assuming it's a strategy, which it has to be, it really doesn't do much to honor those of us that are so loyal to the brand. if it's not a strategy then they have some real morons in management that need to go back to business 101.

They'll make an absolute fortune if they release a new Submariner. Imagine the waiting list. It'll probably be a year long.

The more of the little stars you collect the brighter look you get at the bezel.

I disagree. I think many brand loyalist are excited to see what Rolex has up its sleeve and are truly enjoying the fun that can be had in speculting.

It is simply lighting creating the effect of two color bezel. In addition, why would a two-color bezel be split at 35?

I am in no way suggesting it is not in fact a new two-color ceramic (or not) bezel but I don't conclude that from the image on the site.

you missed the point.

we don't like the fact that they trickle out only a limited number to market forcing ridiculous prices. i.e. the gv and ss daytona, the ss gmt-iic when it first came out, kermit when it first came out, etc...

I think that we are not used to limited production numbers. If we look at patek or vacheron or other high end companies they are working only with limited production numbers

We got used at getting any watch that we like in just few hours but rolexes are becoming really common and i guess that rolex is trying to create an exclusive image again.

We are going to benefit from this cause demand will be higher, exclusivity bigger, prices will be higher and those that have a pretty big collection are going to see the value of their watches going up

I think that this is a necessary evil just my humble opinion
