Very nice Adam, I love it when stories/history accompany our watches

Nice watch, superb box and story.

I had looked at this one but remained indecisive so my loss! If you change your mind, Adam, let me know.

Whoa, that's a story right there. Thanks so much for sharing. I hope that one day my watches end up in hands of people that will cherish them, as I'm sure this previous owner of your new 1603 does (even though he's no longer among us). Once again, thanks a lot for sharing!

Thanks your interest in the story Bubba and everyone else. The story kind of continues here, really, as my wife fell in love with it and said she would rather have this for an anniversary gift (7 yrs right around the corner) than anything else. So, I took it over to Michael Young to resize the bracelet yesterday (didn't trust myself with folded links) and it now belongs to her. It'll get daily wrist time now, and its new owner couldn't be happier.

A couple of wrist shots....

Wow what a nice watch I just love it.

I decided to get a similar one and I would really like to find one with papers like yours. I will keep my eyes open in the buy and sell forum.

Great post and thank you for sharing!

I can't wait to visit that watch shop on my next visit to Florida, you don't see packages like this too often. and his watch selection was phenomenal.

the 6536-1 he pulled out of the safe for me to check out was amazing, he also had an early 60's Platinum DD. PCG GMT and a few other watches that were quite rare and a pleasure to see. Chinese trade pocket watches with pearl bezels and other obscure watches likely from the 1700-1800's. it was a great memory on my trip, and I'm glad to see it's still bringing enjoyment.

Great watch, great story!

Someday some guy on this forum will be showing off your watches saying "He was quite an interesting character!"

Congrats Adam. A "full-set" purchase, exactly as I like them. And a nice story behind it. And a happy wife. All in one !!! That's rare, but you did it
