I have tried both and the blue on the BLRO looks different to the BLNR. Had I realized this was a sticking point for people I would have taken it outside. I wouldn't expect it to look that different in sunlight though

I'm pretty certain that it will look different in sunlight, as the BLNR bezel changes with every change of lighting and angle of view.

Even the camera has a hard time catching all the nuances of effects.

New Pepsi GMT date

Having also seen this in the natural light of the boutique window, don't expect it to look that different...
It's not quite as Indigo in real life but we are talking a subtle difference, both from my pics and the pics that are already online

I like the bezel shades from what I've seen in different photos. I'm OK that it is not exactly the same colors as the aluminum bezel.

I don't mind that it's not exactly the same colors as the 16710... just not a big fan of the color purple.

Personally the shade of blue was certainly not a deal breaker for me. It looked pretty damn cool in the metal. The only issue I had was a disagreement between my bank account and the asking price ;-)

The funky/classy of the color makes it totally unique in my opinion. (unless we're talking about some of the OPs available).
I like it.

I am very much hoping this is the situation!

You need to remember that it could be a optical color illiusion. When you put blue next to red it takes on a different hue. Put it next to black and it looks darker.
No way to be sure till you can lay both next to each other under the same light. Then photoshop both blues one on the other.

LOL you guys need to embrace the purple! There's plenty of shots online where the colour looks near identical to mine. The only way that blue is going to get less purple is by 'optical delusion'

The problem lies with having many of those other gold options already.
