I never take my watch off during a massage! Unless I'm going for a wrist type of massage.

I would suggest a Daytona or Explorer II. Give you a different non-ceramic bezel look.

The 1st watch I thought about was the Explorer II. I would add a Sub because I like it better but for what you need it for, an Explorer II, white dial is what I think would suit your needs. And for the amounts of time you actually dive, not worth buying one for that purpose alone. ;-)

On the flip side, I would suggest you get a Casio. LOL If you're using the argument you need a precision mechanical watch for these activities, then go for another Rolex. ;-)

Hi

I cannot understand people that do not wear their watches for activities, I have had a few different Rolex, the one I wore most was a great old Sub it did everything I did which included a LOT of sport everything from motor racing to scuba diving and a lot in between and never had a problem.

Sub if you want something lighter. I think you would get used to the weight and size of the dssd. I never notice it at this point but also don't run those distances.

I believe that the 3187 is a little larger (for the larger case) & the 3187 has the newer Paraflex shock absorbers. So I think they're supposed to be tougher, but only time will tell for sure.

But all sport Rolexes are very tough watches. I've put mine through a lot of hell & it has come through with flying colours & looking beautiful. Very few things are quite as beautiful as a 216570 in the sunlight.

I think you're nuts to play basketball with a watch on, because it's a real good way to hit somebody in the eye with a fair-sized chunk of metal (unless you're just playing h.o.r.s.e.). Any Rolex that has the paraflex shock absorbing system would be a better choice for repetitive motion situations than any of the dive watches.
