WIS My car costs less than my watch thread
That is one line I never thought I would use, had sold my car and was looking for a mint 997 911, then I took into consideration where I live, old neighborhood, narrow streats, sandstone gutters, car lives under the house but exposed to ocean air and a reality that I now do around 12000miles a year, so made a last minute left field dash for something more location appropriate, cheap to run, super quick point to point, and unlikely to have much residual depreciation as they are becoming a collectors car.
Appreciate many in the USA used to wide straight roads wont appreciate my flying hot hatch. Not sure if it constitutes a mid life crisis car given I am in my 40's and have had 3 Porsches before and am now driving the cheapest car I have owned since i was a teenager. And yes it genuinely cost me within $500 of my Aquanaut. I know in the past some members have shown pictures of their car that is cheaper than their watch, so I thought for a change from is it safe to wear me watch in.... might be fun for a laugh to post cars genuinely cheaper than my watch. Tom may well post a picture of his Platona and 996 Cup car, but either way hopefully it get a laugh.
