Supposed the question is:
BLRO and Smurf VS Platona

Which would you choose?

My choice: still the Platona (I'm a sucker for the added weight).
Just curious as to why you think a random poll must include some mention of a Sub in it when its not platinum either. Now if you said a more valid comparison would be the Platona vs plat DD, your point would have some merit.

Read my post... Platona is like twice the price of BLRO, so I don't think it's a fair comparison.

I did read it, and like you said gold doesn't equal platinum.

2 golds don't equal platinum either in the sense that a few lesser precious stones don't equal one diamond costing the same. If you think they do, offer any girl a choice between the many, or the one. 99% of the time you'll be left holding the rubies (or emeralds, etc).

Platinum Daytona but one with new dial for me. Love the glacier sub dials and subtle diamond markers. Also love that you rarely see them if even at all.

I don't think its a decision I'll be making anytime soon, but I do love the BLRO so would go with that.

BLRO- brown/blue doesn't do it for me. Like the pepsi colors better. Never had anything with WG, so that's another plus for the pepsi

Platinum Daytona certainly. I just spent a week in Costa Rica with a buddy that owns the platona and being up close and personal this past week gave me a new appreciation of this thing.

Personally, I'd go with WG or platinum DD or the WG sub. The BLRO is beautiful, but at that price point, you can pick up a preloved pepsi and have a lot of $ left over to add others to the collection.

I have both. First for me would be the platona. Next the pepsi. Can't go wrong though.

For me GMT looks best in TT, and Platona is the best looking Daytona in the precious metals arena.
