Wow, that's a science experiment right there. That is scarier than the stuff lurking in the back of my fridge.

Suspend the watch with a ruler over a red solo cup filled with water so that the bracelet is fully sumerged. Then throw 5 or 6 Efferdent tables (the kind used to clean dentures) into the water and let it sit over night. Eferdent won't harm false teeth and it won't harm the watch band either. Clean the rest off with a soft tooth bruch in the morning and it will be good as new.

All cleaned up. The watch for being worn every day is in unbelievable condition. My friend told me he wore it tight on his wrist. The band without ever being cleaned had absolutely minimal stretch. Furthermore proves my theory that wearing the watch tight will save your band 100%.

My daily wearer Sub has been worse than that.
Given it spends its year inside deer and down rabbit holes , and working on bikes then it`s to be expected. `s only dirt. |

I wonder if there isn't an advantage to having a fair amount of your own DNA in your watch. Like, if it is stolen, and recovered, wouldn't DNA be useful if the serial number were altered?

Even after regular washing with a toothbrush, this still comes out of my bracelet after an ultrasonic bath, I presume this crud to be the stretch causer:
