I think when this was previuosly posted I thought it was not correct. If it was the case then Rolex would have a very clear warning in their literature. They could not run the risk of the world changing dates between the hours of X & Y.
So all in all perhaps an urban myth?

I have no technical say on this, as I just don't know, but if you are concerned like JJ, you can always pull it out to the time change stop and advance it 24 hours.
