How about a line or two about the equipment used and the manner in which you took these pics. Some of the best watch shots I've ever seen.

Thanks Matt! Really the camera does all the work along with some good natural light. I use a Canon Power Shot S2 IS and rely heavily on my macro and super macro settings for the close ups. It's amazing though how many shots you have to sift through to pick the very choice one's to post!

If anyone is looking for a 286 let me know. My AD just got one of the 500 made and offered it to me, but I am going to pass. If you're in the Bay Area, just PM me and I'll let you know who to get in touch with. If you're out of the Bay Area, let me know... I might be able to help you out since their policy is only for in store sales unless you're a frequent customer. If you want one, better pick it up before the September 1st price increase.

Look at the post preceding yours. Sleedawg has one for you if you want. Good luck!

I posted the info on availability because each AD is supposedly only getting 1 each and the boutiques get 2 since there are only 500 made and there almost that many ADs (480 or so?).

The 286 and other Panerai pieces made in 500 or less units are usually held for good repeat customers. I thought I'd hook someone up with a referral if someone wanted it since I'm going to pass. It's a beauty, but I realize that the larger/heavier watches hurt my wrists. Staying with my "lighter" Rolexes. We'll see what I do when I get my DeepSea. Hope that's not a brick.

Man that is one beautiful timepiece. The hob nail dial and blue hands are just fantastic.

Nice score pal, and it couldn't happen to a better guy.
