Such a well taken point

I was at tourneau last week looking at the Nautilus (unfortunately they did not have the 5711r) It is such a nice watch

Seeing that you have two 26470, one with bracelet and the other with strap, why don't you get rid of the strap one, keep the 26 470 with bracelet and simply buy a strap with plots and buckle? Might cost you a few thousand but you are freeing up alot of funds that you could use else were. Just a thought, but your RG collection really is outstanding.
Thats a really good idea!

For me the issue is that I love and use the chronograph complication.

I almost pulled the trigger on the 5980r on bracelet and went with the 26470 on bracelet instead. I find Pateks wear small and I have this fascination with larger watches.

I thing the 5980r is just so beautiful though.

Me too, just a lovely piece....however I find it small for my tastes hence why I have gravitated towards the AP chronographs.

Got it. In that case stay away from the 5711/1r.

Agreed and thanks! No disrespect to the Pateks, they are truly stunning.
