You must mean huge PRICE tag. As discussed a little while back, the 44mm Pt pieces are only a few grams heavier than the RG pieces... And we all know how popular the 44mm RG piece is.

Hahaha you are a funny guy Paul!
Negotiations have already started with my regular AD - until he has stock though, I can't push too hard!! He still has the white concept and the peripheral tourbillon - there are definitely deals to be done on those, but this is the one I think I like the most, other than a certain long since discounted AP Tourbillon which is much more reasonably priced....... |

Its a stunning piece and there aren't too many watches out there that I can think of other than RM (also epic timepieces) that fall into the same class of uber sporty high end complicated watch.
Now that I think about it.....can anyone name another brand besides RM that is in this market segment? I am curious. |

I have tried it on once at the AP boutique in Ginza. It's hands down the heaviest watch I have ever put on. Far more than any Platinum Watch I have put on like PT Daytona or even the Pt Schumi.

This is indeed a beauty! It is a very desirable watch, but I understand from my AD that he had a client interested in one and that he can get one from AP directly if the client had given them his firm commitment. So, for those select few looking for one, PM me if you are interested.
Time will only tell how they will hold their value over the next years, but I highly doubt it that you would have to take such a large hit, Roger. Awesome piece though! |

I think you will not find many dealers buying a used one of these for cash unless the number is very low. Which leaves you either the auctions or consignment sales. Then you might get more for sure but with a much longer timeframe. I know what I would pay for a used one and that would mean that the first buyer will have taken a massive hit even if purchased at a good discount. For me to take the first buyer hit then the discount will need to be very aggressive.
