5712 came first really wanted a Patek didn't know where to start and what to get and at that time I didn't understand many brands, I mainly wanted the 5167 or the 5711 but ended up with the 5712. Second came the 5164 it was a debate between the 5726 and the 5164 but I already had a nautilus didn't see the need of 2 in my collection since I was downscaling from 6, so I ended up with the 5164 and its way cooler then the 5167 . My last grail that I got was the 26400 FC, I wanted a royal oak I didn't see them the same way back then as now. Saw them to be large over the top commonly found APs but I gave one a shot, tried from AP the diver, ROC the limited Edition one with the rubber strap in titanium and a bunch of the new 42mms but I fell in love with the FC after wearing it for the first time.

I never really have cared to own another anymore than this one since I was a young boy reading in National Geographic Magazines about all the undersea adventures that were taking place and somewhere near those articles were always an advertisement for a Submariner.
