IWC Nonsense

So I acquire a nice pre-owned bracelet for my 3777....but it's short (2) links.

No problem right?


I call the IWC boutique to order (2) links for an IWA6044 bracelet.

The response I get is: NO

"In order to get the links you would have to send the entire watch to IWC service where we will evaluate the piece and add the links...but this will probably also require a full service"....



So I can't just order the links through you and install them myself?

"No"

Ok...

So this is a new low. A full service just to get links added? I always thought IWC was kinda of a meh brand, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Guess I'll have to hit up E$$y and find some along the way because I won't be sending my watch in to be serviced just to add (2) links...
