Some things are definately more expensive, but most things seem reasonable. I really like it down here in the southwest so far. MIL fed us some REAL Cornish pasties for lunch. Damn I love those things! The sheep are quite cute too

The sheep are fine Bruce, Cornish sheep like to tease, and sometimes you got to chase them.Keeping the old waist line nice and trim. But unfortunately the Cornish pasty has quite the opposite affect,so my advice stick to the quite cute sheep.
P.S Be very careful with the ones with horns

Paddy knows what he's talking about: those pasties are bad (but lovely!!! )

Clearly MIL's will be the best pasties, but if you ever get to St Just (not far from Lands End) try the McFadden Butcher's ones. They are fantastic and made with truly local meats and veg. Hmmm... I feel a trip in the car coming on (it's about 8 miles from here - and a lovely drive on the north west Corwall coast road).

McFadden Butcher's ones, yes agree great tasting pasties.
Picture of myself, Carol my wife, and my mother and her little dog, sadly now both gone to a better place.I used to do quite a bit of diving around the Cornish, coast before I moved to mid Wales.Better class of sheep here Bruce but a bit rougher, but far easier to please than your Cornish sheep.

Yes Cornwall,Devon and Dorset are great parts of the UK.And I used to have a dive St Ives sweatshirt, remember getting extremely drunk on Cornish Scrumpy one night, those were the days.
